Proposed wargaming arena consists of following modules:
Infrastructure: The cyber arena will have a robust and secure infrastructure that can support a wide range of training and exercise scenarios. This will include networked systems, servers, and other IT infrastructure, as well as the necessary physical security measures to protect against unauthorized access.
Training platform: The cyber arena will provide a realistic training environment that mimics the real-world challenges faced by cybersecurity specialists. This will include:
- A range of simulated attack scenarios and simulations, such as phishing attacks, malware outbreaks, and data breaches that the platform can execute.
- Scoring, assessment and evaluation tools that will allow users to measure their skills and identify areas for improvement. This will include assessments of technical skills, such as network security and incident response, as well as more general cybersecurity knowledge and best practices. Assessment will be personalized for each role, or for a group as a whole.
- Collaboration tools to teach and foster cooperation, such as real-time chat, forums, and wiki and ticketing tools.
Reporting and analysis tools that allow users to track their progress and identify areas for improvement. This will include features such as progress tracking, performance metrics, and detailed reports on individual and team performance.
Scenario management tools to enable import, execution and management of scenario lifecycle in the platform.
Security aspect: measures will be in place to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches. This will include user authentication, good security design and network isolation measures.
Training scenarios: The cyber arena will provide a range of training modules that cover the latest cybersecurity techniques and technologies. These modules will be designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing for customization based on the needs of individual users.
Marketing work package for the cyber arena project is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy with goal of increasing awareness and attracting potential stakeholders. The goal of this work package is to promote the value of the cyber arena as a platform for learning, improving and practicing cybersecurity skills, and to reach the target audience of public sector, high schools and universities, and private sector organizations.
The last module – Operations and school support – will contribute to improvements of the arena based on feedback and operational experience.
